Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Caramel Apple (seasonal Flavor)

Today is Shelley's birthday and as if to say "Happy Birthday", the Crappies showed up at the docks today. They had been out in the lake but just moved to shallows today.  Yes, that's my shadow messing up the picture. 

While all of this was happening from the shoreline, we had more people out on the lake after Rainbow Trout. I full expect them to be in later today with a limit. They are regular guests who don't seem to have a problem catching fish. 

They brought their "Good Luck" Banjo with them today. If it's my kind of Banjo, it would simply scare everything off. Including everyone within the sound of it. BUT NO. This banjo is a much curter version and has much more personality. 

With the temperatures in the 70's today, it really is beginning to feel like Spring. Time to schedule a Cabin Get-Away!

The Last Resort Project:
We actually did a Last Resort project run today to pick up a trailer load of carpet. It is still probably going to be next week before we are able to do anything with it, but it's here at least.
