Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombian Dark French Roast)
How slow of a day must it be when the most exciting part of the day includes getting a stack of bills paid. That was today. I suppose that is part of the Adventure as well. Figuring out how to keep the bills paid.
But since I have yet to figure out how to take an interesting picture of paying bills, I'll resort to another adventure. Shelley was out enjoying the warm weather with our grandson and stopped by one of the local visitor centers today near the lake. I'm not sure he had ever seen fish this "up close" before and he seemed to like it. replica of the previous State Record Brown Trout prior to the new record this Spring. I think this picture demonstrates a little of what the Adventure is all about. Even though we are getting busy, there are days, especially this time of year when the "Middle of the Week" means "Days Off". When "grandkid duty" is part of the routine, days off to play is VERY important.

The Last Resort Project:
I did manage to get a little work done at The Last Resort today but nothing picture worthy. I'm determined to finish up at least the front entry on cabin 6 before this weekend so hopefully there will be something to show for the weeks efforts.
