Day 163 - 202 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend)
Our first day home was hectic. As busy as it was though, we were easily reminded why we've chosen the life we have. I walked down to the lake this morning before sunrise and took this picture. It's very calm and peaceful this time of the morning. The property at Rainbow Haven Resort actually extends into the Lake by several feet. So some of our real Estate is actually water. I don't know why that really means anything to me but it just kind of adds to the Resort feel and adventure knowing that some of our land is actually occupied by lake water that is NOT flood related! lol. Anyway, Being gone is fun, returning home is fun too!
After running a hundred miles an hour during the day, we were able to enjoy a relaxing night with our friends and Resort Adventure "babysitters" from last week at one of our favorite destinations. We spent the evening with Randy, Teresa and Justin at Top of the Rock for Dinner. I suppose we should call them "Keepers of the Adventure". They seemed to enjoy their time here and even though we did not witness it for ourselves, (being in Florida while they did their thing here) I believe they are suited to the life, even if it's just a week or two here and there. They had never been to Top of the Rock and we enjoy introducing friends to the place for the first time. So we had delicious food, watched a Civil War cannon being fired towards the lake and simply enjoyed the end of the day in a very relaxing and enjoyable way.

The Last Resort Project: The guys called me today and are eager to get going on the next list of things that need done up there. Maybe now that "normal" is returning, we can get things going there again.
