Day 153 - 212 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombia Dark French Roast)
I spent time today with the Graham family getting them acclimated to the resort process. Trouble is...… Randy knows boats better than I do, Justin handles the pool and the dock better than I do and Teresa is more organized than I am so I should actually be taking instruction from them. Between the few busy spurts today, mostly it was a typical Sunday with a few morning fishermen them the afternoon boat gas customers. Justin is a natural at getting boats ready. He was only a little bit nervous at bringing the pontoons into the dock, but I believe I will return to all of the boats being completely intact.
We also got a visit from long time friends Mitch and Gail from North Dakota today. They'll be staying for a couple days before we leave and then transferring over to the treehouses. Mitch and I were "Best Men" in each others weddings and have been friends since we were 10 or 11 years old. Being the practical joker he is, there is always opportunity for retribution from his frequent victims. It his case it was Shelley who administered some form of retaliation upon Mitch at Dinner tonight. She ordered him a "Fried Ice Cream Dessert" which should have been his warning. Shelley instructed the cooks to place hot sauce inside and sour cream on top. Which they did...………. It's probably a good thing we will be out of state for a week or two, for Shelley's sake. Although a week will probably not be anywhere near enough to let the incident pass into memory. We will be seeing them again next week and there is no telling what might happen!

The Last Resort Project: Carpet installation and most of the final repairs on Cabin 4 are being completed today and we will have new residents moving into it tomorrow. So the process of bringing the Last Resort back to life is moving forward.
