Day 192 - 173 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Fog (Guatemala Decaf)
I sat and enjoyed the sunrise and a cup of coffee with our good friend Randy who has been staying here for the past two weeks as part of their family Summer vacation. For the past couple days, he and his wife have been enjoying the company of their grandsons. The boy's enthusiasm and excitement has no boundaries when it comes to the resort. Between the pool, the boats, the "treasure hunting" along the lake and even just the new and different noises they hear, they are having the time of their life. I can tell that Randy has a similar view to the importance of exposing our grandkids to the "Adventure". What is a great experience for us is magnified in our kids and now grandkids. The spark of wonder and excitement in their eyes makes the whole thing worth it!
