Day 256 - 109 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica blend)
I keep thinking that the Summer is eventually going to start giving way to Fall, but here we are again on Friday, it feels like Summer and the resorts have booked up at the last minute to nearly full. That's a good thing for sure. Normally, we are experiencing the slow-down by now and I have to say, I'm not seeing it yet. We had good friends Randy and Teresa along with their son Justin in camp this weekend. When you add in Rick in room 10, it was almost feeling like July 4th, with a good portion of our July 4 guests here occupying their same "Home Away from Home" cabins now as they do then.

The Last Resort Project:
We are continuing to make headway at the cabins. The decks on cabin 2 and 3 are nearly complete, We have been swiping spindles from Rainbow Haven resort decks and upgrading the railings there with some privacy panels.
Jared is one of the Dynamic Duo of Brad and Jared. He's been a trooper at trying new things and today is was steps. Building them that is! These are the new steps at cabin 2 into the "Wash Tub" laundry service operated by Tiffany and her husband Dave. They keep pestering me wanting to get on to the next project and I have to keep reeling their enthusiasm in until the more pressing and higher priority projects get done. But, it's all getting there!
