Day 59 - 307 Days to go
2 Days Until March 1
2 Days Until March 1
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Caramel Apple ( a really good seasonal flavor)
We ended yesterday by making a calculated judgment about being able to get the rooms 11 and 12 done before our guests would be arriving today. Dave and I started at 8am and worked right up until 1pm and finally had most of the punch list knocked out. The cleaning and housekeeping was still needed but Dave assured me that he could Git-R-Done!
With a deep breath, I told him to make sure everything was ready in all of the other cabins for the guests and save the final work on 12 until last. That way if they began to show up, I could simply direct them into all the other units until 12 was finished. Dave worked his magic and by 3pm, he sent a message that all was ready.
With the initial work completed and the rooms functional once again, we can address the painting and staining of the decks and railings at a later date. By 8pm tonight, I had received RAVE REVIEWS by the King family on the new work that was just completed. They said it was a wonderful surprise that they had not expected! (I guess they haven't been following the Resort Adventures updates!
I suppose in this case...….. that was probably a good thing!
