Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombian Dark French Roast)
A trip to the lake is never really complete if it doesn't include a fire at some point. Even though it's July and Summer has set in, the cold water on our lake has one additional redeeming factor besides being perfect of the trout population. It also brings in an element of evening air conditioning off the cool water. Our fire pit is only about three feet from the lake front and makes bonfires a pleasant experience even when the daytime temps are much too warm for fires. This family started out by reserving three nights. They ended up extending their visit to seven nights and have enjoyed several fires by the lake during their stay.
