Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Ozark Mountain Turtle (Chocolate/Caramel/Pecan flavors)
We are wrapping up another Summer month at the Resorts and I'm still amazed at how busy it's been. I decided to share my favorite Sunrise pic of the Summer so far. It happened on the morning of Summer Solstice and I don't know why the colors were so vibrant but it happened during the "African Dust Storm" event. I suppose that was the reason. It's just another way the Resort Adventure is satisfying.
Tomorrow, we head into the final stretch of the Summer on our way to the Labor Day weekend. I'll certainly be ready for that first "Day Off" when it gets here. It usually occurs some time in September when we don't have any rooms or boats scheduled and we get an all day rain at the same time. On that day, whenever it is, I'll get to sleep in, sit on the deck drinking coffee and looking at the lake. I know there will be things to do, but for at least one day, I'll do nothing.
