Day 37 -  328 Days To Go
23 Days Until March 1
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra)

Sleeping in this morning on the boat seemed like a good idea when I went to bed last night. With some sun shining in one of the port holes in our state room, getting up and going felt like the thing to do. With rain in the forecast, we are not planning much in the way of travel, but if something close by catches our fancy, we may do a little snooping around some of the inlets. I always like to do some legitimate work in a strange and unique office setting, just to say I did it. Today is was under the flybridge of Treasured Times looking back at the sunrise at the inlet to the marina.

We ate lunch at the Seven Mile Grill. Which was on my list to visit while here specifically because it is for sale and includes a marina with it in the deal. (Don't get ahead of yourselves just yet.......) It's only an idea!............. But looks like a pretty good idea to me! We looked it over and I think it would make a great home for the future Cruise Business. We'll have to play around with that idea for a while first though. The food was awesome.

Access to the Gulf of Mexico, a place to fish and food........ What's not to love about that idea!!!

Gulf, Fish and Food.......

Anyway, after lunch, we looked at a couple other Marina properties and then headed back to Treasured Times. I settled in behind a computer screen to do a little research on the area while Mike, Adreane and Shelley hopped in the Dinghy for a ride around the harbor. As they left, I heard something about fishing and Yellow Submarines! Don't ask me what that's all about until later when they get back! I did get a picture of Shelley in her natural habitat.

And NOW...... on to the Yellow Submarine!
The trio returned from fishing with fish and pictures of their Yellow Submarine. I'm still not exactly sure what it is but I'm pretty certain that we are safe from any torpedo launches. It looks to be some kind of big fuel tank, no doubt set adrift by a hurricane. Nevertheless, it's a yellow submarine to us now and who is to say otherwise.

The day was relaxing, I fished a little from the boat without any success, at least if you define fishing as catching. But I was fishing from the back of a boat in the Florida Keys and catching or not, Fishing in the Keys is Success!
