Day 411 of the Adventure

Yesterday completed most of our deer season stories for this year. We still have one deer to butcher, but that will be a little later. For now, it will be quartered and stored in the freezer. There are just too many other things that need our attention. Deer processing can take place on a cold and snowy day later on this winter. BUT....... For those of you who have not seen it, we did a short video of our Monday this week.

We hadn't really intended to spend any time trying to video the hunt. I was more interested in making a "Day in the Life" type of video showing different things we do from sunup to sundown. Life has changed so much for us in the last year. Our "Resort Adventures" were outstanding, but in many ways, the "Backwoods Cabin" experience is possibly an even more content way of life. It's certainly slower paced and less demanding, that's for sure. Whether we are working or playing, being surrounded by the "Life in the Woods" environment, just makes everything more pleasant and relaxing. I am content and I'm certain that Shelley is enjoying her "Woodsy" life as well.

So....... Even though today is Wednesday, watch the video of Monday while I declare "Thank God It's Monday!".............
