Day 426 of the Adventure
Here we are at the beginning of December, and we are exactly 6 months into our Backwoods Cabin life. It's also a bit of a red-letter day. With all of the other things that has taken priority here, we've never installed the kitchen stove. Today was the day. It may not seem like much, but we've been cooking in a variety of ways including toaster, microwave, air-fryer, outdoor camp stove, outdoor flat top grill and the ever popular Campfire Sticks. It's a small step, but an important one. At least now we can do some real cooking in the cabin. After six months of make-shift cooking it will be a welcome change.
Up until now, we had been doing Sunday morning outdoor breakfast videos using whatever we could. You'll find links to some of them below this posting. Here's one of my favorites: Biscuits and Gravy
