November 19 - DIY Homestead - Backwoods Bug-Out Property (Day 10)

Day 779 of the Adventure

Solar panels were part of the agenda as well as more painting. The "Backwoods Bug-Out" is a completely off-grid property with solar power driving everything on site. This includes the well, all the lights, tools and security equipment. Over 2,500 potential watts of power are available at the moment. Which is plenty for now. That number will very likely increase as time goes on. The ability to function apart from the electrical grid is part of the goal of self-sufficiency. It's an exercise in personal energy independence.
