Day 964 of the Adventure


I suppose it's been about a month since we began planting our garden. The hardest part is the wait between getting seeds in the ground and seeing actual growth of the vegetables. This past week though, it's all starting to finally happen. Today I noticed a very small butternut squash showing itself beneath the canopy of leaves. Once spotted, I began to see others as well. It's looking as if the butternuts will be a prolific bunch of garden dwellers this year.
