Setting an Early Morning Mood - July 25

Day 1,393 of the Adventure


For the past few weeks, temperatures have been in the mid to upper 90's around our part of the Ozark Mountains. It's certainly giving us the summertime feel but it's also a bit intense when the sun reaches our work location on top of the roof. That happens around 9am. To be able to actually get anything actually accomplished, we've been trying to start around 6am. Sunrise now is at about 6:15 so the first few minutes of the day include coffee on the back deck. At the same time, watching the sky lighten up and decide when it's time to just get started. It's almost too easy to just sit there sipping coffee and watching the day begin. Alas......... Time to climb the ladder and make some noise!
