This week, the focus has been the Last Resort! Even though there are other things happening and guests coming and going, the cabins up the hill are getting the most attention. So on with ……....
Rehab projects are kind of like a Chinese Puzzle. Everything has to happen in the right order. Sometimes that order does not fit the schedule very well. In new construction it's a little easier. In the case I'm dealing with, The cabinet "footprint" needed to be established kind of before the flooring or wall panels could be laid out, The problem was that the flooring and wall panels needed installed first. (which didn't happen) So...… part of the floor was repaired and leveled, then the cabinet base was set then flooring and walls cut in around it and ..................…. It'll get done! If I can build a treehouse, I should be able to get a kitchen put back together! SO the pic to the right is me starting to lay in some of the flooring. even though the built in cabinet bas has already been installed. The flooring we chose is a vinyl plank but has a sawmill cut look to it.
While working today, I had a potential brainstorm about the property. I think I like it, but need to run the idea past Shelley first!
