Day 31 - 334 Days to go
29 Days until March 1
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Fog (for you decaf lovers)
With the completion of this installment of Resort Adventures, I have successfully logged one short article per day on our experience at the resorts. While it's an accomplishment, January, at least in theory, should be easy as it is the slow season. We'll have to wait and see how it works out when things get to rocking around early April.
The picture at the right is what you would expect when staying at Cross Timbers Cabins. This is Cabin 2 which sleeps 2-4 with a Queen bed and sofa sleeper. These cabins were dramatically renovated back in 2011 and 2012. We meant for them to be a private collection of cabins for the family. It turns out the family wasn't here much but everyone else wanted to stay in them. It's how our Resort Adventure started.
Cross Timbers is still available for guests stays, but it's now officially for sale. Here's the link to the listing. (If you want a easy start to a Resort Adventure of your own)
The weather is supposed to be above freezing again now for about a week so I can see outdoor projects in the near future. Perhaps even moving some more of the wood shop tools down to Rockaway Beach from Ozark.
Here's a good perspective on Adventure (and pretty much the way ours always works out)
“I always secretly looked forward to nothing going as planned. That way, I wasn't limited by my imagination. That way, anything can, and always did, happen.”
