Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
I stumbled into something today that was unexpected. While out having fun with the family, I encountered a custom sign shop. I'm a bit of a push-over for vintage looking signs and how much better can it get than a vintage looking sign with YOUR OWN STUFF ON IT???
I immediately had them design a sign for our Rainbow Haven Resort before I could even figure out where I wanted to install it. The idea started out to put it on the boat dock gate, THEN ……. build a sign frame where guest fishermen and fisher-girls can photograph their catch. THEN..... Until I build the sign frame for that.....It's going to be displayed in the tackle shop! (can you sense my enthusiasm?)
I also had a second sign designed and I'm sure it will eventually find a home here somewhere. I even talked to them about producing some souvenir signs I can sell in the tackle shop.
