Day 110 - 255 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Highlander Grogg (butterscotch/rum flavor)
Today was the last day before the girls leave for home in the morning. Mandy made sure to catch enough fish to clean, pack and freeze for the flight home to Las Vegas tomorrow. Just so you know that she's not only a "Slayer of the Sunfish", I've included a photo of her with a Dorado she caught a while back that is very respectable. (By the way, she did not catch the Dorado in Lake Taneycomo) With the recent cold front that had passed through and the limited time available, they simply could not spend as much time out in a boat getting serious as they wanted. So..... Sunfish it is!
After the fishing, the food (which included a big pan of fried morel mushrooms, everyone gathered at the bonfire for some final family time and then the day ended. I'll miss my girls again now but it will be only a short miss, as we will be gathering again in about a month for Adreane's wedding. I have NO DOUBT that a little Salt Water Fishing will be on the agenda.
That's just how it is!

The Last Resort Project: While more work at the last resort is on the list for Monday, we did have some potential buyers look the property over today. They were also interested in seeing the other reosrts we have. Who knows, perhaps new adventurers in the making.
“We are each on our own journey. Each of us is on our very own adventure; encountering all kinds of challenges, and the choices we make on that adventure will shape us as we go; these choices will stretch us, test us and push us to our limit; and our adventure will make us stronger then we ever know we could be.”
