Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost up the Creek (Colombian)
Another week is in the books at the resorts. We were about half full which is pretty normal for this time of year. And ,not too bad considering the low temps dipped clear down to the 30's just before the weekend. The girls all headed home bright and early this morning. So even though the hustle and bustle of the Spring season is just kicking into gear, it will seem oddly quiet around here for a while.
Ray came around for coffee this morning and then decided to begin getting the Jon Boats wet. I have him on a mission to collect pictures, videos and fishing reports from around the lake. I think he's up to the challenge.
We spent most of the day hanging around Rainbow Haven taking care of the typical Sunday customers that are squeezing the last drops of life out of the weekend. Since we were here anyway, we decided to do a little more work to the pool equipment area. A project that began last Summer then got sidetracked by Summer itself. The goal is to bring more color and vibrance to the Rainbow Haven Resort. Then we ran out of paint. Then we ran out of screws. Then we decided to go to Branson, pick up more supplies and eat some supper and call it a day. But we got such a good start on it that I think tomorrow will be a Rainbow Haven Day and The Last Resort will have to wait one more day!
