Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Highlander Grogg (Butterscotch/Rum)
It was a beautiful day at the lake. In fact, at 7:30, I'm still enjoying the deck and the tackle shop door open. Warm weather means that the minnows are on the menu. I started the day with about 40 dozen and by the end of the day a huge dent had been made in them. It's a favorite of the Crappie fishermen. We have people staying with us this weekend that hired a local guide for Crappies and we have been promised a fish fry tomorrow night. I'll certainly be looking forward to that.
The Last Resort Project:
Once again, The Last Resort took a back seat to everything else happening today. I'm afraid with the weather looking warm and mild for a while now, we may have a hard time getting up there.
