Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica blend)

Shelley spent a good part of the day getting things ready around the Pool at the Rainbow Haven Resort. Normally we have it up to specs sometime in late April. With everything we've had going so far this year, late April has become mid May. Part of that had to do with the death of the old pool pump last fall and me not getting it replaced until just recently. Of course, even when everything is technically ready, we still have to wait for the warm weather to warm the water which is typically mid to late May anyway. But I believe we are ready to go now and certainly will be by Memorial Day Weekend, next week. 

The Last Resort Project: We are nearing crunch time at Cabin 6 at "The Last Resort". We have a young man and genuine "Good Guy" moving in next week and are still getting last minute details finished up. I spend the day on the tedious work of trimming out the new window openings. (which I knowingly complicated by making them bay windows) My philosophy is "Too much flat wall is too much". So the bay windows added some much needed character to the front of the cabin.
