Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
I'm not sure if I can really report that the flood water is still receding or not. It's really been back to mostly normal since the day it happened, but somehow the lingering thoughts of it make it feel like we're still dealing with it. I remember two years ago when Craig (the previous owner of Rainbow Haven) was still here working with us. He had more of an emotional reaction to the floods I believe mainly because of the really big one that happened to him the December a year before. I told him then that it would be okay but he was still concerned how it would affect us and what impact it would have on business. I found one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs, "Coming Back to Life" and played for him in an attempt to say we're going to be just fine. I'll share it with you. I'm not sure it fit's completely, but it's close enough!
