Day 125 - 240 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Fog (the obvious choice for today!)
I spent the early morning hours sipping coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet of a Sunday morning at The Resorts. The Lake is completely fogged in which is always an oddly beautiful experience. I don't even pretend to understand what causes it. I simply enjoy it. I've been listening to Caribbean music while catching up on the Resort Adventure postings and have been having flashbacks to warm weather and the slow pace of what I think of when I think of the Magical Get-Away. (For me that means tropical temperatures, tropical sounds and tropical...….. Everything!) It's probably why we have been leaning towards tropical colors around our pool. Even if no one else appreciates or enjoys it, I may have to create a tropical oasis at the pool just for me! Maybe even pipe in some Island sounds!
While I'm thinking about it, I want to congratulate a couple we recently met who are just now in the process of beginning their own "Resort Adventure". Rob and Connie looked at The Rainbow Haven Resort but it was a little out of reach for them. They've recently found a lake property and are now acquiring boats for it. Best of luck to you both and enjoy the ride. It will be whatever you make of it, so make it a good one! I'm looking forward to seeing your Adventure unfold.
Week eighteen is in the books at the resorts and even though the season is just getting started, it feels like it's moving so fast! But then again, I suppose that's what you should expect when you're doing what you love!
Long Live The Adventure!

The Last Resort Project: I'm planning to get things around the office caught up so I can spend the next couple days at "The Last Resort"
