Base Camp Coffee of the Day:
After yesterday's posting I began to realize that our Resort Adventure has never been about us but about our kids. Even though it hasn't really developed the way we had planned. Our first bunch of cabins was purchased as a family retreat or "Get Away". Since by that time, the kids all had their own lives running at full speed, the family retreat never really materialized and we simply pushed the whole thing into a business. A fun one, but nevertheless...… a business. It wasn't until yesterday that it dawned on me that the "Family" part of our business is being fully experienced by our Grandson, now eleven months old. He is getting to grow up and experience his early life from a very unique perspective.
Before the urgency of life takes over for him, we will enjoy bringing him up, for the days he's here, in the coolest place on the planet for a little kid. I'm not sure when real memories take hold, but we're not taking chances. Every Day will be a holiday.

The Last Resort Project: The guys are now making good headway on cabin 4. I plan to get pictures of it as soon as I can break away from the lake!
