Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend)
The work at the Last Resort continues and we are seeing the results of our "Deck Labor" there. I drove by to get a picture of the lights that Ray had strung up around his deck. Earlier in the day he showed me the ones he had up in the Magnolia Tree. He told me he was thinking of climbing up in the tree to string up more of them. I responded by telling him if I caught him climbing the tree, I'd have to hurt him. If he was too far up the tree I'd have to throw rocks at him to get him down. I think he got the hint and I have not had to chase him out of the tree.
What I'm having fun with is watching how much fun all of them are having around the property. I think the "Resort Feel" is rubbing off on everyone up there and it's starting to have a little momentum of it's own. They are all getting obsessed with lights. I think they are trying to set some new kind of standard for the town!
