Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend)
Today was all about rain, drizzle and cold. I spent the day working in the tackle shop which is also known as my warm weather office. Today was cold so it really didn't work out as well as it has all Summer and so far this Fall. I decided that it was time to move back into my cold weather office which is located in the house with an actual heat vent in the ceiling. It also looked like tonight might be the first dip down below freezing so far this year. We're all full of good news aren't we? I do enjoy the changing of the seasons but this time we simply missed the change. It happened while we were gone and now it was here waiting for us to get back to slap us in the face!
November is historically slow at our Rainbow Haven Resort. It's still really busy at the treehouses. But slow is actually going to be kind of welcome this year. We are planning some cabin upgrades at Rainbow Haven and the Last Resort is still getting a make over. PLUS. I think I could stand to sleep in occasionally and a rainy day is PERFECT for that!
