Day 75 - 291 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Fog (Guatemala Decaf)
Today felt like a "Lost in the Fog" day. Our fishermen all checked out and headed for home. The weather was on the cool and cloudy side. It felt good to just stay in bed as long as possible and not get too excited about the list of things to do.
As I watched some of the morning news shows, there seemed to be a lot of talk about the hoarding of things like toilet paper due to the Corona Virus. I'm still trying to connect the idea of "virus = TP hoarding" I guess it's a thing! I've decided that I will hoard Rooster Tails. I also hoard Berkley Power Baits, Trout Magnets, Eagle Claw and other important necessities to the fishing virus which infects nearly everyone who visits the Resorts.
There is really only one recommended course of action and it is found out on the lake. Yes, I will allow my hoard of fishing supplies to be depleted in such emergencies! We even allow for the "Social Distancing" which is a popular buzz-word nowadays. You can stay on your private deck, in your private cabin or on your private boat all you want.
I heard there was an outbreak of Corona down by the firepit, but it was a "Light" case. JUST KIDDING...… It's a google image!
Have no fear, we are still here and making due quite nicely. (I'm having more fun with this than I really should be!)
See You at the Dock! (or by the fire)
