Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombian Dark French Roast)
The beautiful days continue with temperatures in the mid 60's down here by the lake. The early flowers have been making their presence felt for some time now reinforcing the fact that Spring is upon us. Every season is the "Best" season but Spring is special in our business in that everything is coming back to life! Including the hibernating fishermen! (The tackle shop has been getting busy as well!...… I guess it's time to order minnows!)
In truth, the excitement I feel as Spring rolls in is something I look forward to every year. Even the nature of the projects begins to change. We will be breaking out the smaller boats and kayaks later this week and will be working in short sleeve shirts around the pool and boat dock. The tree frogs are singing at night and all of the Springtime birds are returning.
This is a GOOD time of year!
