Day 92 - 274 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Fog (Guatemala Decaf)
We are now into April and even though Spring is in full gear, the resorts are oddly quiet. 2020 will has already left it's mark on us with the pandemic scare. I'm personally not worried that much by it. As lodging, we have been exempted from closing down and have been given safety measures by the health department to remain open for business. That doesn't take into account the panic that's been perpetuated by the news and local governments. So what is normally a busy time of year has been very slow. The one interesting bright spot is that even with the encouragement to stay home, people are also encouraged to get out and participate in outdoor activities. Fishing is one of those activities and the tackle shop has been doing a booming business. It's still just a small portion of our Resort business, but this year, every little bit helps. Cap'n Ray has been making his fishing run's down here almost every day and spilled out a bucket of panfish he caught for me to see. That will certainly get Shelley excited for the Sunfish and Crappie that are moving in to the docks now.

Adventure Quote: “Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”
