Day 99 - 267 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra)
Every day, I've been amazed at how busy the Lake Resort has been. Not so much the cabins (although it's been a little busy there) but mainly the tackle shop and boats. I suppose it will all go back to normal once everyone has to go back to work. This past month has been a "forced vacation" to many. Even the folks in the boat picture are local residents who have lived in the area for three years and have never gone out onto the lake in a boat. It's an April vacation for them.
I joked with them that they were attempting a "Lake Quarantine" and it worked so well that even the fish stayed away. They laughed at the irony of it but had such a good time anyway, they vowed to return and do it again.

Adventure Quote: “The secret to so many [adventurers] living so long is that every [day] is a new adventure. So, you see, they're always looking ahead to something new and exciting. The secret is not to look back.”
