I'm not sure which of the two seasonal events over rides the other today. The fact that today is the first full day of Summer, or that today, the days begin getting shorter. Summer Solstice is the perfect day for those of us that love Summer. Now we begin the long, six month march toward Winter Solstice. It's okay though. Even though the days will be getting shorter, the Summertime still has it's best to offer us. We've been busy at the Resorts, but this week, vacation season will hit a month long peak. Our annual July 4 family will begin arriving later in the week and it will be good to see the reunion of our 20 year club getting back together at the same time.

So the sun is rising on a beautiful morning and a beautiful season here at the Resorts.

What better way to enjoy Summer Solstice than with a beautiful Summer Sunrise. My sunrise pics are best around 5:30am. When you visit us on the lake, you can get plenty of these. It's one of the many benefits of Lake Life and I do my very best to experience as much of it as I can.
