Day 217 - 149 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: B52 - (Kahlua/Irish Cream/Amaretto flavors)
Yesterday marked the end of a chapter of our "Resort Adventure". The Sale of the old Hospitality Hill Resort (nick-named The Last Resort while we've been upgrading it and preparing it for sale) took us from owning four resort properties a year ago down to two now. Our plan this past year has not been to get away from the Adventure. It's actually to continue to grow it. With Cross Timbers Cabins and The Last Resort now sold and in other hands, we are now beginning to prepare ourselves for what happens next when the Rainbow Haven Resort passes to new owners. This is not happening yet, but we are confident it's only a matter of time.
Rainbow Haven Resort is a full business property. One where a nice living can be made. It embodies everything you would think of when you think "Resorts". It's in a Lake Setting, there are rooms to rent, swimming pool, boat rentals, fishing..... more fishing, a tackle shop, Kayak rentals, marina and a big covered deck to sit on and oversee all of the activity going on at the ramp area and fishing island.
This resort will make an awesome life for owners wanting to live a "Resort Lifestyle". It's quite a bit of work in the Summertime. (But so was punching a timeclock all year long a regular job)
We've already purchased one new part of our on-going Resort Adventure expansion this past Spring. Once Rainbow Haven is wrapped up, we will take the next step in our personal pursuit of the Resort/Lake life. (There's a link to the Real Estate listing at the end of this posting if you are ready to step into the Resort Lifestyle!

Adventure Quote: “So many amazing opportunities arise when a chapter of our life ends. When we resign from a job that we weren't happy in, or even get fired, it's actually a blessing because a better experience is waiting to happen. It's all about perspective.”
