Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)

Today was a big moving day for us at the Marina Inn. Most of the essentials were brought over. Almost. With all of the rush to get repairs and upgrades done and needing tools and equipment for that, none of the fishing tackle from Base Camp Fishing was even touched. Yes. The Marina Inn will be the new home for Base Camp Fishing which is our "on-line" fishing tackle store. And Yes, we will set up a "Walk In" tackle shop here at the resort. I plan to have that ready to go by March 1. Although, there's a lot to get done so we'll see how that goes.

Base Camp Fishing is a spin off from the Base Camp Resort and Cabin Co. brand we started a couple years ago. It seems to always take a back seat to all of the other resort related things we are doing. Nevertheless, we reached a significant milestone with it a couple months ago by getting the initial on-line store set up and functioning. About a week after that got accomplished, we placed the Marina Inn under contract so the fishing tackle kind of took a back seat once again. I was able to get about 20% of our inventory loaded on to the site before it had to go to the back burner again for a bit. I really am planning to pick it up again soon and complete the work on it.
