Today marks the beginning of the next chapter in our Adventure Journey. We purchased the "Marina Inn" on Indian Point just outside Branson and near Table Rock Lake. It is a 19 unit Resort with a pool and GIANT Event Center. It's a considerable step up in size from the Rockaway Beach resorts and very close to Table Rock Lake. We really wanted a property on the lake but inventory was almost non-existent during our hunt. As it turned out, this place recently came on the market and has the one thing that nothing else we looked at had. Location in the busy and wildly popular Indian Point area. The Resort had been extensively renovated in 2019 with almost nothing to improve on the interior. We have some ideas for improving the exterior and plan to begin pretty quickly. We plan to work the property over a little during January and February with a Grand Opening planned on the March 1st weekend. The online reservation system will be operational tomorrow (January 5) for dates after February so you don't necessarily need to wait to make bookings. You just won't be able to book dates in Jan-Feb. I'll be posting plenty of updates now, so keep an eye out for our progress!
