Day 403 of the Adventure

Taking a quick break from the "Getting Started" series to share some of the woodsy experiences we encounter down here. I spend a lot of time getting sunrise campfire pics and construction pics but seldom attempt to get anything from the night. Tonight is different. I went out onto the incomplete deck, which is not necessarily a good idea in the dark, and I found the moon. I don't know if it was a full moon or not but if not, it was close. We don't have a security light on the property so it's very dark unless we turn on the front entry lights. I've noticed without all of the "Light Noise" around here, the moon and stars are much more brilliant when they are not obscured by clouds. In fact, the moon light is bright enough to light up our entire back yard area well enough to see almost every detail right up to the edge of the woods. I don't know why that is so impressive to me. I guess it's just something I haven't really experienced other than times when I've been primitive camping. We've always been in places where artificial lighting has dominated the night and this is quite different. Moonshine at the Cabin in the Woods.
