November 6 - DIY Homestead

November 6, 2023

Day 766 of the Adventure

The newest project went from the drawing board to the woods today. We began the day with a blank, woodsy canvas and ended the day with a series of posts in the ground. These will make up the back wall of our new woodshed. If you've been following the progress, we've set up a temporary woodshed nearby that is a metal pole framework with a tarp over it to keep the wood dry. The new one will be a permanent structure with walls and a metal roof. It will also include an extended roof covered area in front of it for working the wood splitter. It's a one hundred percent utilitarian project but even those are necessary from time to time. Stay connected for more updates.
