Day 886 of the Adventure
My mind is weary today from dealing with things that all seem to be beyond my control to do anything about. I guess there are just days like that and things like that. It's kind of like the story of the little Dutch boy trying to plug 28 holes in the dike with only 10 fingers. Tomorrow will be another day and hopefully I can focus my attention on something that a can actually accomplish some good in.
After failing at everything I meant to do this morning, Shelley and I decided to make a run to the lumberyard for some paint and then while there, the garden center for some garden seeds. The ones in the picture are not mine. Mine are still out in the back of the Jeep but it's dark and cold and I'm too tired to go and get them. I saw a picture today on Facebook of my friend DA planting his onion sets and if anyone knows when to start, it's him. The idea of getting that close to garden time was an encouragement. All of the saw logs we cut from our garden area got removed yesterday and there's only some chunk firewood left to pick up now. We have three of the garden beds ready to go and six more yet to build. I have a feeling we need to turn our focus to the deer fence soon though. So, probably fence will be on the schedule for tomorrow.
It's late, I'm tired and a fresh day can't get here quick enough to suit me so........
