My Personal Planetary Alignment - February 20 - The Campfire Trail

Day 1,238 of the Adventure


For the next few weeks, I 'll be facing that awkward time of year where my head on the pillow on my side of the bed, the window on the east side of the cabin and the sunrise are all in perfect alignment. Meaning that, unless there is heavy cloud cover, I wake up at sunrise. If I haven't already gotten myself out of bed by then. Sunrise for us right now is around 6:53am. If I'm still sleeping by that time of morning, it's because I want to still be sleeping by that time of morning. It's late February, cold outside and I have already fed the wood stove three times throughout the night. Today, I would have happily slept in an extra hour. But no...... Now, I have to find something to do. I guess I'll make coffee for a start! That could take the edge off my attitude a little this morning!
