No Pain No Gain! - February 27 - The Campfire Trail

Day 1,245 of the Adventure


We've only really taken about two and a half months off since the last cement work we were doing in the basement. Now, here we are mixing a very small amount of it for our woodshed and it's kicking my butt! It sure doesn't take long to get out of condition for it. Maybe being 64 years old would have something to do with it. 

Our woodshed has a cement base under each of the stacking areas. We got all of them done except for one last fall. or was it the fall before that? I don't remember but the important fact is that we still had one left to pour. That happened today and as small of a job as it was, it got the best of me. I had to sit between mixes which there were six of them all together. The good news is, it is now done, and we can stack this final section full as well. No Pain, No Gain........... I guess!
