Gas Food and Lodging - May 9

Day 1,316 of the Adventure


Well........ Not gas........diesel! Yes, with this step of the process, we have fuel, food and lodging for the next week or so. The fuel truck was the last thing we were waiting on before we can weigh anchor and head out to the sea. The ladies picked up a car-full of provisions just a few minutes ago and so we are nearly ready. Our last get-away was two years ago this week. A lot has happened since then and we are certainly ready to disconnect from responsibilities for a few days. Ironically, this boat is a little over twice as long as our cabin, the same width and three times as tall. It seems impossible to imagine. The last time we stayed at sea for eleven days. This time will probably be more like eight. Still, a boat trip is a boat trip and
