Even though I am not superstitious, really about anything, every time a Friday the 13th rolls around the whole "What could go wrong today" vibe does surface. It's funny. Probably more of a cultural urban legend more than anything else. Normally, I let the day pass without giving any of it any thought. This year, however, I have had a different attitude! It's been one of those years so far that when Friday the 13th rolled around, I'm like "You got something for me too? Fine. Hit me with your best shot!' Hope you brought band aids!"

It's not that it's been a bad year, in some ways it's just been an exasperating one. I'm not going to go into it but when Friday the 13th taps me on the shoulder this time, it's likely to receive a black eye before it has a chance to pull its tricks out of its pocket! I'm just not in the mood this time around!
