Day 1,356 of the Adventure
She's been at it again. It's blueberry season again in the Ozarks and Shelley is stocking up on them. It's only been a few weeks ago that we were processing strawberries from that season. In a few more weeks it will be blackberries. I guess it's a good thing they all don't ripen at the same time. There just wouldn't be time for all of it. Now the ones in this picture were only a small sampling of them. Shelley returned home with two large coolers full. This pan-full was about the right amount to keep me busy as I sat on the back deck feeding my blueberry craving. You don't need a backwoods surrounding to enjoy a feast of fresh blueberries. Just go a berry farm and pick a mess of them and enjoy. Of course, the backwoods experience is a natural fit with a big bowl of berries. If you ever get that opportunity, don't pass it up!
Carry On
Adventure Quote: “The blueberries are tasting extra blue this year. That surprises me, because my tongue is color blind.” ―
