It feels like we've really accomplished something today. The storm shelter/summer kitchen finally has all of the cement work done on it. Of course, there's still plenty to go on the rest of the house and basement construction, but this is at least a turning of the page that will give us a little bit of a break from cement work and dry hands. Cement is terrible for that. Once the wall caps are cured, we can remove the forms and start building the main floor. I think some sort of celebration is called for, but just being done with this part of it is celebration enough.
