Day 1,380 of the Adventure


We've been rocking along with eight batteries on our solar plant since we built it three years ago. We started with some lead/acid batteries which were economical and worked fine, but they did have regular maintenance that was required to keep them at peak performance. About a year ago, we upgraded to some much larger sealed lead/acid batteries that had more storage capacity and virtually no maintenance. This week, we've now doubled the size of the battery storage by increasing the number to sixteen. Nothing like "More Power"!
