Day 74 - 291 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Sumatra/Colombia blend)
We've had fishing guests all week beginning last Monday. The weather was windy, rainy, sometimes warm and sometimes cold. Nevertheless, our boats were out every day and one group of four, were coming in with full limits of trout every day. It's good to see. They were fishing with the usual Little Cleo's, Super Duper's and power baits, (Orange was the magic color this week I guess) The color changes, the size changes a little, the "Flash" changes, but mostly there seems to be about a dozen things that just always work. If you stick with the basics, you'll get fish...…. Mostly! LOL. The end of the day included a BIG bon fire. I guess the first serious one of the season. With it being as wet, cold and windy as it was, "BIG" was a necessity.
The Last Resort Project:
The Last Resort was once again on hold today. Taking a back seat to moving more loads of things from the Ozark house. Shelley has some bedroom painting on the list for tomorrow though so it hasn't stopped completely.
