Day 1127- 248 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica blend)
Our "Treehouse Master" Randy drove over to Rockaway this morning to enjoy a cup of coffee. There was no real business to attend to so it was mostly just to hang out for a while. He did, however, bring news that the elephant tusk entry for the African Treehouse was complete and installed. (No, they're not real..... but they look pretty good) There is still some landscaping and planting that needs to happen, but it's finally reaching its "finished product" status.
He also mentioned that we will be needing to develop the next two or three treehouse designs and plans soon. That's always a fun and challenging process. Our goal is to make every one of them completely different from any other one. We believe that's what makes the property unique. He said that every one he's built has been his favorite one.
Saturday at the lake is proving out to be...…. Saturday at the lake! The parking lot by the ramp is packed full of vehicles with boat trailers. It's a little breezy but doesn't seem to be putting a damper on the fishing.
