Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Fog (Guatemala Decaf) Appropriate for the first few hours of our drive today through a thick early morning fog.
As I mentioned yesterday, we planned a short week long get-away to the Caribbean and 90 degree temps before the busy season began. It also coincides with our anniversary which comes in handy. So today began our road trip to the south. Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Louisiana again. Cruise Shipping is one of my favorite vacations, (Shelley doesn't seem to mind too much either) Quite a bit of my planning and dreaming about the resort life actually gets done on cruises. I pay attention to colors, sounds, and experiences on the ships and at the destinations. Shelley snorkels, dives, swims (sometimes I do too)
It was on a cruise two years ago that our "Base Camp" brand began to take shape. It's still under construction, but I did have a chance while driving and then on the ship to give more thought to it. More on that later.
Today was all about the drive...….. and there's not a lot of excitement in the drive!
