Day 135 - 230 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
I started the day at 6:30am with a quick run to Ozark and back. Part of the problem with multiple businesses is that once you establish a mail delivery address, it can be a nightmare to transfer everything to a new address. Ozark was handy 15 years ago, but since we've sold our house there, not so much now. So every couple weeks I have to do a mail run. Shelley said to me, "We need to just transfer everything to where we live!" My response was; "We're not sure where we live yet!" So anyway.......today was a mail run. Shortly after returning I got to business up the hill on cabin 6....FINALLY!

The Last Resort Project: I still had to run back to the office a couple times to take care of reservations and renewing my past due business licenses with the city. Nevertheless, the porch roof is done and the front step is cemented in and the handrails started. I took a call from our daughter Mandy in the middle of digging holes. She ask what I was doing and I explained that I was putting my PHD to use. She was immediately confused by this which gives an old guy a sense of pride in the lame PHD joke. I explained I was using my Post Hole Digger. I don't think she would ever dis-own me, but I may have come close on that one!
