Day 142 - 223 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend) Even though the coffee today is "Lost on the Lake" we were certainly not Lost on the, but in the capable hands of new "Captains" Olivia and Liberty!
The Adventure of the day included the giddy excitement of two young ladies who became our "Captains of the Day" out on the lake. We were pleasantly treated to a visit from some good friends from Kentucky. Part of the visit took place on the lake with a boat ride up to the Branson Landing. On the return trip, we turned the Captains seat over to one of their daughters, Liberty, and then over to another daughter, Olivia. Both were eager to take the wheel for the first time. They both did a remarkable job and I would say it will probably be on their bucket lists for many, many more times. (The smiles tell the story!)
We met the Lindsey Family at our Treehouse/Campground resort a few years ago when they performed a concert for us. They are a lovely family that never cease to amaze me by their talent, character and good spirit. They will once again be organizing a big music (and food) night for us tomorrow and I am looking forward to it.

“Curiosity is the offspring of mystery. For without mystery there be no need for curiosity. Curiosity is the search for the things that can be, it is the inspiration of the true adventurer.”
